In the year of 2005, 3 young musicians from Zurich got together to form their own band after playing together in various Swiss acts. Whilst one rehearsal, Adrenaline 101 was born and soon after, they found the missing link to make the band complete.
In early 2007 a 5 track EP was recorded, which was followed by a large amount of gigs on the Swiss club scene. In no time, rumor was spread and various known clubs have been sold out without any record yet released. The Alpenrock Band Contest 2007 was won and the band toured Spain supporting Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple/Black Sabbath).
Fueled by the overwhelming live response, the recordings for their debut album „Twelve Step Program” began in late 2008. Recorded and produced by themselves, a fascinating rock album was born including 12 tracks which sparkle over different stages of rock history through a remarkable sound they call their own.
“Twelve Step Program” was mixed in Västerös/Sweden by Fredrik Kjellin, who is known for his work with Mothers Finest or Glenn Hughes. The mastering duties have been accomplished by legendary George Marino of Sterling Sound in New York City.
