Carson exploded onto the New Zealand music scene as a three piece in December 2009 with their debut show at the infamous Dogs Bollix, filling the house and leaving people wideyed and gagging for more. Carson exploded onto the New Zealand music scene as a three piece in December 2009 with their debut show at the infamous Dogs Bollix, filling the house and leaving people wideyed and gagging for more. From then untill august 2011, Carson played up and down the country headlining their own shows as well as some support slots and playing at as many festivals as they could. A few lineup changes later, once Kieran had found the right collective, the now four piece recorded a live E.P tracked at TheDank studio in West Auckland and Mixed/Mastered by Zorran Mendonsa at the The Green Room. This was finished in May 2011 and hit tracks Dues and Conversational were played on radio stations BFM and Kiwi FM. Carson has now relocated to Luzern, Switzerland and the next Carson incarnation (Jan Kurmann - drums and Elina Willener -bass) are on the brink of exploding once again. E.P release party planned for early May and full length album planned for July/August 2012 - we will keep you posted.
