for my particular voice, teachers made me sing in front of audiences at a very early age …later, i took private operetta and classical voice coaching lessons...
i performed as a backing vocalist in several swiss bands, sang on studio projects and performed live with the HipHop Band Mo’Shiba, later Lou Geniuz (swiss radiohit it’s a new day 1998). 1994, when the triphop area began, i got really interested in the sound of bands like massive attack and portishead and all the new electronic stiles. With local musicians i started the band mokka, a trip-pop live project for which i wrote words and melodies. We performed in clubs and openairs around switzerland. 2003 we released our first EP.
I continued writing and singing for different producers such as the jinks (London), merge of equals (SINE music) ,frankie flowerz (funkhaus Berlin) , Dfender (Soulridaz, Mexico), The Lost men (drumpoet community) and appeared on their recordings and compilations…
My debut album will be released in summer/fall 2012, a mix of Chillhouse , electro and dirty pop, made in collaboration with different producers ...
The music is played also live with drums, percussion, dj, trumpet and guitar...
