Created in september 2006 in an old and wet cellar, Sir Round had everything to become the most incredible Funk band ever - and this, in less than a year. But Destiny preferred it differently : each one of the five musicians had a formation and a story so different from the others, that it was impossible for them to play this music they dreamed of. Indeed, at the beginning, Sir Round, that was : a Hip Hop drummer that had played in a rock band ; a Marcus Miller fan bassist ; a swedish jazz saxophonist ; a guitarist that claimed "there must be some kinda way outta here!" ; and a pianist that liked Electro and Jazz, and played classical music. The first repetitions were difficult. Firmly decided to play this music it thought it was meant to, the band couldn't forget its dream of playing featuring Chic, Kool & the Gang, or Earth, Wind & Fire. Then the first frustrating weeks gone, the musicians began to find a style, a way of playing that was appropriate to everyone of them. Since then, they have kept developing this style, between Electro, Pop, Jazz, Hip Hop, and what they were able to bring of Funk. After a year of playing together and two floods, the five friends begin to breath. They still have the same influences, but they begin to learn how to play together. Hey Arléone, c'est clair mec, on l'a fait en deux minutes, et je pense que tes fautes de rap sont moins gênantes que nos fautes à nous ! Donc nous aussi faudra qu'on retravaille tout ça, et c'est net qu'on va se refaire des featuring, parce que c'est vraiment bon !
