Die Band Tumbleweed um die Sängerin Simone Vollenweider aus Zürich beschwört alte Legenden des Wilden Westens herauf, zelebriert traurige Balladen und schlägt fröhliche Countrysongs und sehnsüchtige Folk- und Blues-Klänge an. Alt und Neu vermischen sich zu einem eigenen Sound; mal mit wimmernder Lapsteel und Rumpel-Drum, mal soulig mit Rhodesklängen, mal roh und rockig, mal fein und melancholisch.
